It’s that time of year that we love to celebrate here at EML, and so we have 3 PERFECT releases all out today, ENJOY !!
Sometimes Angels Wear Black is the first single from Moonshot’s new album of the same name – and is a dark and urban dance tune – evoking comparisons with Depeche Mode and Hurts (as well as a more robust, industrial Pet Shop Boys). It features the original album version, together with remixes by two of the bands most regular collaborators – Crimson Death and Roddy Mcgarry (A.K.A Electrum Shiv and Sp3ctrum).
The Crimson Death remix is typically industrial and is a total reworking – including preacher samples and remastered vocals. The Sp3ctrum mix offers a glimpse into the more minimal work that Roddy is producing under his new name – which you’ll be able to hear on EML towards the end of this year.
To celebrate the release of this single, Sometimes Angels Wear Black, we’re giving away a free download of an alternate mix of the track. Please download and enjoy and, if you like what you hear, please stop by Juno or any other download site to buy the original and two other storming remixes.
This crowns Floe’s finest moment. A corker of a track, the breakdown is immense, this is one of those tracks you can’t get out of your head, such a catchy lead synth, sweet and crisp sounding instruments are flush in this well produced anthem. This is one you’ll want to play again, and again, and again.
FLOE RECENTLY MADE BEATPORT’S ”10 MUST HEAR TRANCE TRACKS” EARLIER THIS MONTH.
INCOGNITO – PSYKOTRONIK
PsykoTroniK is back once again, with another funky electro House funk single. Some unique sounds in here, and a sublime sub bass, ensure that this is another track continuing his ever felt presence at Electronic Music Lovers is not forgotten. The bongo’s used to great effect, and some nifty automation combined with the ever present white noise effects, all combine to bring yet another catchy tune, that will create what we like to call the ”sway effect” amongst party goers up and down the globe.
A track that is on the electro progressive tip, and keeps the listener engaged throughout, look out for some shifty synth work as it progresses, one of those tracks that you don’t want to mix out until it nears it’s end, giving you the DJ, time to do something else for a few minutes (if you see what we mean ;).
